Training and Workshop Cancellation and No-Show Policy

To ensure the effectiveness of our trainings and workshops, and to provide opportunities for all interested participants, we have established the following Cancellation and No-Show Policy. This policy applies to all registered participants of our trainings and workshops.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a training or workshop, you must cancel your registration at least 1 week prior to the scheduled date of the training or workshop. This applies to both individually-purchased seats, as well as seats included with an institutional package. Cancellations can be made by emailing trainings@constructivedialogue.org.

Participants who cancel within the specified cancellation period may be eligible for a refund or credit towards a future workshop.

If you wish to transfer your seat to a colleague, you can also do this by emailing trainings@constructivedialogue.org. Please note that your seat is yours; in the case that you cannot attend, you are responsible for ensuring that it is either canceled within the specified cancellation period, or that a colleague will fill your seat on the day of the training.

No-Show Definition

A participant is considered a “No-Show” if they do not attend the workshop and have not canceled their registration within the specified cancellation period.

Consequences of No-Show

The Constructive Dialogue Institute will not reimburse, refund, or transfer individually-purchased seats in the case of a No-Show.

If an individual is registered as part of an institutional package and No-Shows, the No-Show will count as part of an institution’s contracted seats at a specified training or workshop.

Special Considerations

We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can occur. If you are unable to attend due to an emergency, please contact us as soon as possible. Exceptions to this policy may be made on a case-by-case basis.
