Strengthening Jewish Communities Through Dialogue

Americans are being pulled apart by ideological divisions. The Jewish community is not immune to these forces. In the aftermath of Covid, hotly contested elections, October 7th, rising antisemitism, and the war in Gaza, the Jewish community has become increasingly fractured, sometimes leading to tension and division.

Many organizations in the Jewish community have missions to support the entire Jewish community – which may include people who hold extremely different views from one another. Having the skills to engage in dialogue across lines of difference is crucial for building a strong community.

Perspectives for Jewish Organizations equips Jewish organizational professionals with the skills to engage in meaningful dialogue and navigate differences by blending cutting-edge behavior science research with Jewish wisdom and tradition.

It also uses stories and scenarios that capture conflicts and tensions that commonly arise between Jewish Americans today, whether in the workplace or beyond.
