Make dialogue a key component of your course or programming

A Half-Day Training for Faculty, Staff, and Student Leaders

This virtual training equips participants with the skills to facilitate meaningful conversations about contentious issues. Participants will learn out-of-the box strategies to proactively create a culture of trust, techniques to support the development of students’ mindsets and skills for engaging across differences, and specific tactics to navigate conflict in tense moments of controversy or misunderstanding.

The workshop is highly interactive and experiential. Faculty and staff will learn new facilitation techniques and then practice them in structured and accessible ways.

Objectives

  • Learn about and practice the core skills of constructive dialogue

  • Learn how to prepare yourself and others to be in constructive dialogue

  • Know how to use key facilitation strategies during difficult moments in order to sustain constructive dialogue

Schedule & Cost

Time: This is a half-day workshop that runs from 11 AM - 4 PM EST and includes a 40-minute lunch and two 10-minute breaks.

Cost: This training is $250 per participant.

Per our Training and Workshop Cancellation and No-Show Policy, if you are unable to attend a training or workshop, you must cancel your registration at least 1 week prior to the scheduled date of the training or workshop. Any seats reserved and not utilized or canceled with sufficient notice will be forfeited and will be ineligible for a refund or transfer.

Inherently, her work has centered around bringing communities who might never meet together to forge connections and learn from differences.
